About this job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated Field Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. In this role, you will lead high-volume recruitment for compassionate caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs). You will build strong relationships in the local community, host on-site recruitment events, and drive talent directly into our application pipeline to ensure our clients receive top-tier care. Specific duties include:

  • Community Outreach: Build and maintain partnerships with local vocational schools, workforce development centers, community organizations, RiseBoro’s Housing developments and faith-based institutions to source qualified candidates.
  • Field-Based Recruitment: Organize and attend career fairs, hiring events, pop-up recruiting drives, and open interviews across the service area.
  • High-Volume Candidate Screening: Review incoming applications, conduct rapid phone screenings, and evaluate candidates based on state licensing, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Pipeline Management: Guide candidates seamlessly through the hiring funnel—from initial contact to background checks, credentialing, and orientation scheduling.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Maintenance: Maintain detailed, accurate records of candidate interactions, interview schedules, and onboarding statuses in our ATS.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the face of the agency, communicating the rewarding benefits of working in homecare to potential hires.
  • Any additional duties based on operational needs

COMPETENCIES

  • Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation required for local travel (up to 50% of time).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, public speaking, and active listening skills.
  • Bilingual Ability: Bilingual capabilities (e.g., English/Cantonese/Mandarin) required
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with ATS platforms such as HHA exchange, social media sourcing, and mobile communication tools.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume healthcare, homecare, retail, or hospitality environments.
  • License/Certification: Knowledge of state-specific homecare credentials (HHA/PCA certifications) and LHCSA regulations is strongly preferred.
